Jaito, January 30:- Students of University College Jaito brought glory to the college by performing brilliantly in various sports competitions during the block level sports festival. These competitions were organized by Mera Yuva Bharat Faridkot, in which the students participated and brought glory to the college and the area by securing first, second and third positions. In the sports competitions, Niharika (B. Com Final) secured first position in discus throw.
Simardeep (BA 1st) secured second position in discus throw and third position in 200 meter race. Isha Garg (BA 1st) secured third position in discus and shot put, bringing glory to the college. Similarly, Lakshmi (BA 2nd) secured first position in long jump and 100 meter race. Shivani (BA 2nd) secured first position in 400 meter race. Praveen (BA 1st) secured second place in shot put.
Mohit (BA 2nd) secured first place in shot put. Khushal (B. Com 1st) secured second place in shot put and Jasdeep (BA 3rd) secured second place in long jump. On this occasion, College Incharge Dr. Samrat Khanna expressed happiness over this wonderful achievement of the students and said that this achievement is the result of the hard work of the students and the guidance of the teachers.
He motivated the winning students to work harder and achieve great success in the future. Along with this, senior faculty members Dr. Parminder Singh Taggar, Prof. Shilpa Kansal, Dr. Subhash Chandra and physical education teacher Dr. Navpreet Sandhu also congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.
