Fatehabad/Bhuna, March 20:- Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (SP) Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, the district police have unraveled a conspiracy in which an individual, driven by the desire to obtain government security (police protection), staged a fake life-threatening attack upon himself. Following a thorough investigation, the Bhuna Police have arrested the primary complainant along with his two accomplices.
**Identities of the Arrested Accused:**
1. Ajay *alias* Mantri, son of Inder Singh, resident of Chobara (the main conspirator).
2. Ashok Kumar *alias* Akhan, son of Hardatt, resident of Chobara.
3. Uttam Kumar, son of Harat Singh, resident of Chobara.
**Details of the False Conspiracy:**
Providing details regarding the case, Sub-Inspector Pradeep—In-charge of the CIA (Crime Investigation Agency), Ratia—stated that the accused, Ajay Kumar (who operates a liquor outlet), had filed a complaint with the police on March 18, 2026. In his complaint, he alleged that a youth riding a motorcycle had opened fire at his salesman at the liquor outlet with the intent to kill. Acting on this complaint, the police immediately registered Case No. 62/26 under Section 109(1) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and the Arms Act, and initiated an investigation.
Given the gravity of the matter, when the Scene of Crime (S.O.C.) team and police experts conducted a meticulous inspection of the crime scene, the narrative began to appear suspicious.
• **Orchestrated the Attack Himself:** Interrogation of the accused, combined with technical evidence, revealed that Ajay *alias* Mantri had orchestrated the incident himself with the specific objective of obtaining police security by portraying himself as a 'high-risk' individual. • *The Role of Accomplices*: To execute this plan, he conspired with his associates, Ashok and Uttam, and orchestrated a staged shooting incident with the specific intent of intimidating the police administration to secure personal security guards.
All three accused individuals have been arrested on charges of misleading the police, fabricating false evidence, and misusing government machinery. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
*Stern Warning from Fatehabad Police*: SP Mr. Siddhant Jain has stated that police protection is not a status symbol; rather, it is provided only when there is a genuine need. Misleading the police or conspiring to stage a fake attack for personal gain constitutes a serious crime. Those who attempt to make a mockery of the law in this manner will be sent behind bars. The time and resources of the police are meant to assist genuine victims, not to investigate such fabricated conspiracies.
