Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 2:- As part of the series of events being organized by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, a special documentary film based on the life, philosophy and great teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji was screened in villages Sukhgarh and Baironpur today.
On this occasion, the documentary film, which was shown through a special LED van, was watched by the villagers with great devotion and enthusiasm. The documentary effectively presented the life of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, his contribution to social reform, the message of equality, brotherhood, humanity and the welfare of all.
This special campaign dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purb is being run by the Punjab Government in every village of the state, under which a documentary film based on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji is being screened through LED vans. Its aim is to connect the younger generation and the common people with the philosophy of life of the great saint and his message of humanity, equality and social harmony. The villagers, while praising this initiative of the Punjab Government, said that this effort to take the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji to every door is highly commendable. They thanked the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and said that such programs will prove helpful in further strengthening the spirit of brotherhood, equality and togetherness in the society.
