Jaito, December 11:- Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Shri Raj Chauhan, who arrived to pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, was honored by the Shiromani Committee, Dharam Prachar Committee member Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhishek and Secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, at the Information Center of Sri Darbar Sahib. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Raj Chauhan said that he had received an invitation from the Shiromani Committee to attend the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. However, he could not attend at that time due to the ongoing session of the Legislative Assembly.
He said that he has reached Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib today with his family to pay obeisance and pay respect to Guru Sahib. He said that this holy place is a source of spirituality for the entire humanity, from where humanity gets inspiration for mutual brotherhood. He also thanked SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami for the invitation sent by the SGPC and the honour received.
On this occasion, Dharam Prachar Committee member Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhishek, Secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Manager Jaspal Singh Dhadde, Information Officer Randhir Singh, Canada resident Balbir Singh Changiyada and family members of Mr. Raj Chauhan, brother Mr. Surinderjit, wife Mrs. Inder Chauhan and daughter Amrita Chauhan etc. were present.
