Hansi:- SDM and Electoral Registration Officer Rajesh Khoth has expressed strong displeasure over the slow progress of the digitization of enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign. On Thursday, he held an important meeting with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and supervisors to review the progress of the campaign, where the work was reviewed thoroughly.
During the meeting, it was revealed that there are 20 BLOs in the assembly constituency who have digitized less than 10 percent of the enumeration forms on the portal so far. Taking a strict stand, SDM Rajesh Khoth directed that show-cause notices be issued to all 20 concerned BLOs. He clearly stated that any kind of negligence or slackness in an important task like election work would not be tolerated.
The SDM also reprimanded the concerned supervisors, stating that they had not shown seriousness in supervising and guiding the BLOs working under them. He said that the responsibility of supervisors is not just to submit reports, but also to ensure the quality and pace of work. He warned that if such negligence is found in the future, disciplinary action will be taken against them as per the rules.
He directed all the BLOs who received notices to improve their work immediately and increase the speed of digitizing the enumeration forms. The SDM warned that if the situation does not improve soon, a letter will be sent to the Election Commission for the suspension of the concerned employees.
SDM Rajesh Khoth appealed to all the voters of the Hansi assembly constituency not to wait for the last date and ensure that they fill out their enumeration forms as soon as possible. He informed that all Booth Level Officers will be present at their respective polling stations on July 5 and July 12, where voters will be able to fill out and submit their forms. Apart from this, on other days, BLOs will also go door-to-door to collect the forms so that no eligible voter is left out of this process.
To further accelerate the Special Intensive Revision campaign, the administration has also established seven control rooms in the Hansi assembly constituency. In these control rooms, all Booth Level Officers will sit daily from 4 PM to 6 PM to digitize the enumeration forms on the portal. Internet facilities and support staff have been arranged at these centers so that the digitization work can be completed smoothly and quickly.
The SDM stated that these control rooms have been set up at SD Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Hansi, Government Secondary Model Sanskriti School Hisar Chungi Hansi, Toll Plaza, PWD Rest House, Dhana Kalan, and Ghiray village. He said that if a need is felt, the number of these control rooms will be increased.
SDM Rajesh Khoth emphasized that the Special Intensive Revision campaign is a crucial task related to the strengthening of democracy. Active participation of all officers, employees, and voters is essential to make the electoral roll more accurate, transparent, and updated.
