Chandigarh – In the Punjab University Inter College Boxing Championship 2025-26, the team of S. G. G. S. College Sector-26 Chandigarh performed brilliantly and won the title. The team won the team championship in the men's category by scoring a total of 45.5 points.
During the competitions, the competitors of S. G. G. S.-26 showed great sportsmanship. In different weight categories, the college players brought glory to the college by winning 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.

In the final bout results, Abhishek Nishad (SGGS 26) won the gold by defeating Partham (SD 32) in the 47–50 kg weight category. In the 50–55 kg category, Karamjot Singh (SGGS 26) defeated Harshit (SD 32). In the 55–60 kg category, Akshit (SGGS 26) defeated Victor (SGGS Khalsa Mahalpur). In the 60–65 kg category, Rohit (SGGS 26) defeated Vaibhav Dahiya (SD 32). In the 65–70 kg category, Udevir (AS Khanna) defeated Mohit (SD 32). In the 70–75 kg weight category, Achalveer (SGGS 26) defeated Mukesh Sharma (DAV Hoshiarpur). In the 75–80 kg category, Akash (SGGS 26) defeated Amanpreet Singh (AS Khanna) to win. In the 80–85 kg category, Sohit (SGGS 26) was defeated by Vivek Dahiya (SD 32). In the 85–90 kg weight category, Armaan (SD 32) defeated Amandeep Singh (SGGS 26). While in the 90+ kg, Ranveer (SGGS 26) was defeated by Gurshib Singh (AS Khanna).
