Chandigarh, 26 September:- The Haryana Government is continuously working to strengthen the road infrastructure in the state and provide better and smooth transportation facilities to the general public. In this direction, administrative approval of Rs 734.35 lakh has been granted for four-laning the Pehowa-Dhand Road in Kurukshetra district from RD 53.00 to RD 54.00.
Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that a better road network is an important cornerstone of the development of any area. The government is making efforts to make roads across the state stronger, safer and more convenient so that people do not face any inconvenience in transportation and connectivity between different areas is further improved.
He said that under this work, necessary activities related to utility shifting and forest clearance will be undertaken during the current financial year. The department has initiated the required process to take the work forward.
Minister Shri Ranbir Gangwa said that works related to road development in the state are being taken forward on a priority basis so that the existing road infrastructure can be further strengthened and people can get better transport facilities.
