Haryana / Hisar:- On the occasion of Republic Day, a district-level program was organized at Guru Gorakhnath Ji Government College on Monday. State Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda attended as the chief guest, hoisted the national flag, and took the salute at the parade. Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal and Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan were also present.
Addressing the district-level Republic Day celebrations, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda stated that the Constitution grants every citizen the right to equal justice, liberty, and equality. Paying homage to the architect of the Constitution, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, and all the members of the Constituent Assembly, he stated that this Constitution granted us the fundamental rights of justice, liberty, and equality. On this day, India became the world's largest sovereign, democratic republic. Today, the country has not only developed missiles but has also successfully conducted missions like Chandrayaan, Suryayaan, and Mangalyaan. India has become the first country in the world to land Chandrayaan 3 on the Moon's south pole. Expressing gratitude to the brave soldiers who protect the nation's borders, he said that the ex-gratia amount for Haryana's soldiers, paramilitary personnel, and Agniveers who died during the war has been increased to one crore rupees. A 10 percent reservation has been provided for Agniveers in direct recruitment. Additionally, a process has been initiated to provide government jobs to dependents of victims of the 1984 riots. So far, 418 dependents of martyrs have been provided compassionate jobs. Today, with every government scheme being implemented transparently, the ?71,000 shagun (gift) for a poor girl's wedding, the ?3,200 monthly pension for the elderly, widows, and the disabled, the benefits of BPL cards and Chirayu cards, and the payment to farmers for their crops are being directly transferred to the beneficiaries' accounts with a single click of the computer.
The Cabinet Minister stated that the Chirag Yojana was launched to fulfill the dream of educating children from poor families in private schools. The government has brought revolutionary changes through e-governance in every sector, including agriculture, industry, trade, employment, education, and health. Just as people are now accessing the benefits of various schemes at home through the data of their family identity cards, the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal has been created in the agricultural sector, linking it with numerous farmer welfare schemes. Proceeds from the purchase and sale of all 24 crops at MSP are being transferred directly to farmers' accounts within 48 hours. Under the Chief Minister's Farmer Agricultural Laborer Life Security Scheme, up to ?5 lakh are being provided. The Cabinet Minister added that compensation for crop damage, price difference compensation, Mera Pani-Meri Virasat, and incentives for direct sowing of paddy are also transferred to farmers' accounts through this portal. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, ?7,234 crore has been provided to 20.17 lakh farmers in the state in 21 installments.
He said that to promote natural farming, a target has been set to expand the area under natural farming to one lakh acres. The amount given to farmers adopting natural farming for the purchase of indigenous cows has been increased to 30,000 rupees. Approximately 70 crore rupees are being spent on the rehabilitation of stray animals and infrastructure development. The Cabinet Minister said that Haryana is the first state in the country to launch the Chief Minister's Horticulture Insurance Scheme to protect horticultural crops from weather damage. To encourage animal husbandry, the government has launched the Livestock Farmer Credit Card Scheme, modeled after the Kisan Credit Card. He said that 152 channels are being improved to modernize the canal network. Work is underway on the Saraswati River Rejuvenation and Heritage Development Project, which will be completed by 2028. Under the "Mera Pani-Meri Virasat" scheme, approval has been given for the construction of 1,000 recharge wells, which will benefit 8,000 acres of submerged land. 158 rainwater harvesting systems are being installed to irrigate rainwater. 11034 waste ponds are being revived by the Pond and Waste Water Management Authority.
The Cabinet Minister stated that we have honored the merit of youth and provided government jobs based on merit to over 180,000 young people. The Haryana Skill Employment Corporation has been established to protect youth from exploitation by contractors in outsourcing services. A new National Education Policy has been implemented to provide youth with modern 21st-century education. The country's first Vishwakarma University has been opened in Dudhaula, Palwal, to connect them with skills. He added that under the Swamitva Yojana, a provision has been made to allocate one-third of the ration depots to women to make the state Lal Dora-free and increase livelihood opportunities for women. The operation of Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteens and Vita sales centers has also been entrusted to women. Under the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana, cylinders are being provided to poor women for ?500.
The Cabinet Minister stated that to facilitate higher education for girls and women, the government has established a college within a 20-kilometer radius. 81 new colleges have been opened in the state so far, 31 of which are exclusively for girls. The Lado Laxmi Yojana has been implemented for women. He stated that so far, an amount of ?441 crore has been transferred to the accounts of more than 8.63 lakh women in three installments. The Cabinet Minister stated that development work worth up to ?21 lakh in gram panchayats is being undertaken by the panchayats without e-tendering. Reservation for backward classes has been increased in panchayats, municipal corporations, and municipalities. E-libraries are being established in 994 villages across the state to provide youth with access to quality materials for competitive exam preparation in a location near them.
He said that the honorarium of sanitation workers has been increased to ?16,000 in villages and ?19,000 in urban areas. Work is underway to construct at least 10 parks and gymnasiums and install streetlights in each assembly constituency. To date, 993 parks and gymnasiums and indoor gyms have been installed in 382 buildings. The Vikasit Bharat Guarantee Rozgar Aajeevika Mission Rural Scheme has been redesigned. Now, villagers will receive 125 days of employment instead of 100. This is a very effective and ambitious scheme. The Cabinet Minister said that under the Mhara Gaon Jagmag Gaon scheme, 24-hour electricity supply is being ensured in 6,019 villages across the state. 50,563 solar systems have been installed so far, meeting the target under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. A decision has been made to provide ?3,200 per month as old-age pension, widow pension, and disability pension. He said that Metropolitan Development Authorities have been formed for the development of Gurugram, Faridabad, and Panchkula. Furthermore, the Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority has been merged with the Hisar-Agroha Metropolitan Development Authority. The current government has allocated ?1,000 crore to regularize 3,244 colonies and provide infrastructure. Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda honored freedom fighters, democracy activists, and their families during the program. Expressing his pleasure at the successful Republic Day celebrations, he announced a grant of ?5 lakh and a holiday for all educational institutions in the district on Tuesday.

After this, children from St. Mary's School performed Bhangra, children from IDDAV School performed Rajasthani dance, handicapped students from District Welfare Centre performed Mix Parody, students from Government Model Senior Secondary School Jahazpul performed Haryanvi dance, students from Delhi Public School performed Patriotic dance, students from Government Senior Secondary School Patel Nagar and Sushila Bhawan performed Punjabi dance and Haryanvi dance. Apart from this, students from Government Senior Secondary School presented the National Anthem. These presentations filled with patriotism captivated the audience.
The women's platoon of the district police won first place in the Republic Day parade. The NCC Air Wing Platoon 1 Senior Division contingent came in second, and the NCC Senior Division Boys Platoon came in third. Similarly, the tableau presented by the District AYUSH Department won first place. The tableau of the Municipal Corporation of Hisar came in second, and the Red Cross of Hisar came in third.
