Ratia, September 12:- A religious function was organised at Gurdwara Sri Guru Granth Sahib, located in Purana Bazar of the city, on the occasion of the first Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. On the occasion, the bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji was performed, following which the Ragi Jatha of Bhai Akal Singh enthralled the Sangat with melodious Shabad Kirtan.
The Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Jasvir Singh also enthralled the Sangat by connecting them with Sikh history. During the programme, a large number of devotees paid obeisance in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Members of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, including Iqbal Singh Khokhar, Kaka Singh Ladhuvas and Gurmel Singh Sehnal, also participated in the programme.
Giving information about the programme, Gurdwara Manager Daljit Singh Pippaltha said that a religious function is organised every year on the occasion of the first Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Religious diwans were organised on the occasion, and the Sangat participated enthusiastically in the function and paid obeisance.
Jaswant Singh, Angrej Singh, Rupesh Singh, Manjit Singh, Jaj Singh, Jarnail Singh, Charanjit Singh, Happy Singh Sethi, Raj Singh, Manvinder Singh and Harpreet Singh were also present on the occasion.
