Chandigarh, September 8:- On the auspicious occasion of the Prakash Purab (Gurpurab) of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Haryana Government has invited applications from the Sikh Sangat to participate in the religious ceremonies to be organized in Pakistan from November 22, 2026, to December 1, 2026.
A government spokesperson informed that applications have been invited by the Home Department, Haryana Government, from devotees wishing to join this proposed Sikh Jatha.
Interested Sikh devotees can submit their applications to the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Kurukshetra, on or before September 12, 2026, so that police verification and other necessary formalities can be completed within the stipulated timeline.
The spokesperson appealed that all applicants must submit their applications along with all necessary documents attached with full details within the specified time. He clarified that incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered under any circumstances. All applications received within the deadline will be processed for further action in accordance with applicable rules and prescribed procedures.
