Ratia, 27 August- With the objective of increasing awareness among children about Sikh history, a quiz competition is being organized by Sikh Sewa Society on 30th August at Gurdwara Shri Guru Granth Sahib Purana Bazar Ratia, in which students of various schools of the area will participate. In this regard, a meeting was organized at Gurdwara Sahib Purana Bazar and the programme was discussed. 
Giving information about this, members of the society Ranjit Singh Bittu and Happy Singh Sethi said that for the first time in Ratia, a quiz competition on Sikh history is being organized to make children aware about Sikh history, in which school children of the area will participate. 
They said that this programme is being organized on the occasion of Sampurnata Diwas of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj Ji. They said that apart from the teams securing first, second and third positions in the competition, other participating teams will also be honoured and encouraged. 
On this occasion, Gurdwara Manager Daljit Singh, Bhai Trilok Singh, Advocate Harjeevan Singh Sidhu, Harnek Singh Sandhu, Jaswant Singh, Kamaljit Singh Mann, Jashandeep Singh, Puran Singh including sewadars were present.
