Hoshiarpur: Continuing an annual tradition, the Mahilpur branch of the Baba Barfani Langar Seva Samiti dispatched provisions from Darbar Bapu Ganga Das, Mahilpur, for the *Langar* (community kitchen) being organized at Baltal by the main Baba Barfani Langar Seva Samiti (Registered), Mukerian, Hoshiarpur, during the Shri Amarnath Yatra. The event began with a *Havan* (sacred fire ritual) performed by a group of Shiva devotees. Subsequently, office-bearers of the Mahilpur branch honored Shiva devotees who had arrived from various locations.
Office-bearers of the Mahilpur branch present at the occasion jointly announced that the Baba Barfani Langar Seva Samiti (Registered), Mukerian, Hoshiarpur, would operate a *Langar* using *Desi Ghee* (clarified butter) at Baltal *Langar* Site No. 3 for a period of one month. To support this initiative, the Mahilpur branch dispatched the necessary provisions and also presented a cheque worth ?4 lakh. The truck carrying these provisions was flagged off by Mandeep Singh 'Manga' Bains, the chief *Sevadar* (caretaker) of Darbar Bapu Ganga Das Ji. On this occasion, Joginder Pal Pinky, Anil Kumar Kala, Vicky Agnihotri, Rohit Dhawan, Anurag Handa, Subhash Gautam, Santosh Sharma, Umesh Gautam (Chandigarh), Aman Thakar (Mukerian), Vinod Kumar (Sultanpur Lodhi), Pradeep Kumar (Hoshiarpur), Inspector Paramjit Singh Bains, Ashok Kumar (Garhshankar), Vinod Handa, Master Achhar Kumar Joshi, Jatin Taneja, Dinesh Sharma, Baldev Raj, Kamaljit Wali, Sanjay Malhotra, Pawan Kumar, Ravi Kharodi, Gopi Basra, Surinder Pal Sharma, Raj Kumar, Rita Rani, Gagandeep Kaur, Baldev Gauri, Ashok Bali, Pandit Jagpal, Pandit Sahaj Ram, Bhuvan Aeri, Dhruv Aeri, Ved Rakesh Kumar, Darshan Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Rajiv Kumar Narula, and Bhanot, along with other committee members, were present.
