Karnal, September 29:- Acting on information about suspected activities, police raided Moon Light Hotel on Safidon Road in Assandh. According to police, three men and three women were found inside the hotel. The team detained all of them and began questioning them. Police also said that some suspicious items were recovered from the spot. The hotel operator was also detained by the police. Police had received information that a spa centre was being operated at the hotel and that suspected activities were being carried out under its cover. Based on the information, a team led by DSP Gorkhpal Rana, Women Police Station SHO Kanupriya and Assandh Police Station SHO Rajesh Kumar raided the hotel.
The police team checked the hotel rooms and other areas. During the search, three men and three women were found. Police detained all of them and began questioning them. The suspicious items found at the spot were also taken into possession and are being examined. DSP Gorkhpal Rana said that police had received information about suspected activities being carried out under the cover of a spa centre operating at the hotel. Action was taken based on the information received. Preliminary questioning revealed that the women were from other states. Police are collecting information about their addresses and their employment at the hotel. According to police, their families will be contacted to obtain information about them. Further action will be taken in accordance with the law based on the facts that emerge during the investigation. The DSP appealed to people to immediately inform the police if they notice any kind of suspicious activity in the area.
