Una, February 11: A financial, digital literacy, and awareness camp, organized by the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Committee branch in Ajouli and sponsored by NABARD, was held on Wednesday at the local village's agricultural cooperative society. Approximately 40 villagers participated.
At the event, Branch Manager Ram Kumar Kalia informed people about the bank's various loan schemes, including Kisan Credit Cards, self-help groups, home loans, education loans, vehicle loans, crop insurance, social security pensions, Atal Insurance Scheme, and digital banking and cybersecurity.
He advised people to be wary of fraudulent calls and not to share confidential bank information. He also provided detailed information about savings schemes and advised against sharing their account and ATM details with anyone.
Sunil Kumar, Gopal, Ram Kumar, Gurmukh, and others participated in the camp and learned about banking schemes.
