Kabul:- There are no signs of stopping the conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan. While talks are underway for a peace agreement between the two countries, Pakistan continues to bomb Afghan civilians daily.
Pakistani forces infiltrated and attacked Afghanistan late Monday night. Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on Tuesday that nine children and a man were killed in the attacks.
"Last night at around 12 o'clock, Pakistani invading forces bombed a house in the Mughalgai area of ????Gorbooz district of Khost province. A local civilian, Waliat Khan, was killed along with five boys and four girls in the attack," the Afghan government spokesman said in a post on X. 
Zabihullah Mujahid said in another post that Pakistan also carried out airstrikes in Kunar and Paktika regions. Four civilians were injured in these attacks. Former US Ambassador to Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad expressed condolences for those killed in the Pakistani attack.
Khalilzad said that killing civilians and risking a full-scale war is not the solution to the problems of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said that patient and realistic diplomacy is a better option. Former Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad said that there are reports that a Turkish delegation will visit Islamabad and Kabul to try to broker a deal between the two countries.
Khalilzad praised the initiative and said that after this agreement, a monitoring office could be set up in Ankara, which would include officials from Turkey, Qatar, Afghanistan and Pakistan. He said that this monitoring center would not only monitor but also address any reported violations.
