Patiala, September 10:- With the cooperation of Sudhar Sabha Shri Kedarnath Ji Regd. and devotees, Monthly Shivratri and Lord Krishna’s Chhathi were celebrated with great enthusiasm and fanfare. On the occasion, special kirtan featuring devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva and the childhood pastimes of Lord Krishna was performed by Shiv Mandli from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Devotees were seen immersed in devotion and thoroughly enjoyed the bhajans.
On the occasion, Sudhar Sabha served an uninterrupted langar featuring dishes loved by Lord Krishna, including kadhi rice. The family of founder Satnam Hasija distributed laddoos among devotees on the occasion of Chhathi, while toys were distributed among small children on the occasion of Kanna di Chhathi. Puran, the treasurer, distributed chocolates among the children. Ramesh Kumar Arora Golu distributed rabri kulfi and ice cream generously among children and devotees.
All members of Sudhar Sabha worked tirelessly to prepare and serve the langar. The movement of devotees and their faith at the ancient Temple of Shri Kedarnath has now increased considerably on a daily basis. Festivals and religious occasions that were not celebrated at the temple earlier are now being celebrated there. As a result, the faith and devotion among the devotees have increased considerably.
