Lalru, July 2:- Under the Punjab Government's public welfare-oriented 'Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme', Dera Bassi constituency MLA Mr. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today flagged off the 69th bus from village Dharmgarh and the 70th bus from village Ramgarh Rurki to take pilgrims to various holy religious sites.
On this occasion, MLA Randhawa stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is successfully running the 'Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme,' fully respecting the religious sentiments of the people and enabling them to visit major religious sites in the country. He said that this scheme is providing an opportunity for every section of society to undertake a pilgrimage without any financial burden.
MLA Randhawa said that the happiness and satisfaction seen on the faces of the pilgrims is the greatest achievement of this pro-people scheme. Wishing the passengers a pleasant, safe, and auspicious journey, he added that the Punjab government will continue to run such welfare schemes for the well-being of the people.
On this occasion, Village Dharmgarh Sarpanch Mrs. Poonam Rani (wife of Mr. Gursevak Singh), Mr. Gurmukh Singh, Panchayat members, and other dignitaries were present.
