Hoshiarpur: The state executive meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti was successfully concluded yesterday at the Shri Thakur Dwara Patti in Hoshiarpur, held under the divine presence and guidance of Mahant Swami Pawan Kumar Das Ji Maharaj. Numerous saints and spiritual leaders from across Punjab participated in the meeting, engaging in deliberations regarding the organization's activities and religious initiatives.
Prominently present on this occasion were the State President Dr. Swami Dineshvaranand Ji Maharaj (Chandigarh), Vice President Mahamandaleshwar Swami Mankameshwar Ji Maharaj (Amritsar), State General Secretary and *Peethadhishwar* (Head of the Spiritual Seat) Paramhans Swami Basant Ji Maharaj (Nangal Dam), Joint Secretary Swami Shridharacharya Ji Maharaj (Anandpur Sahib), and Joint Treasurer Mahant Swami Pawan Kumar Das Ji Maharaj—at whose premises the meeting was hosted.
In addition to these dignitaries, several other associate saints also joined the meeting.
During the proceedings, the saints emphasized that the ten Gurus of Punjab sacrificed their lives to safeguard the identity of Punjab and to protect humanity. Today, they asserted, there is a pressing need to preserve and strengthen that very identity. The saints affirmed that the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti would play a pivotal role in fostering mutual brotherhood, harmony, and unity within society.
The saints further declared that the "Nation is Foremost" (*Rashtra Sarvopari*) and that every section of society must work collectively, prioritizing national interest above all else. The meeting also featured discussions on reinforcing spiritual values ??within society and expanding religious and social outreach programs in the future. Speaking on the occasion, State President Dr. Swami Dineshvaranand Ji stated in his address that the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti comprises saints and spiritual luminaries representing 127 distinct spiritual traditions (*Sampradayas*) from across the entire nation of India.
He further announced that, under the aegis of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, a massive movement would be launched in 2027—a movement that would not be characterized by violence or conflict, but rather by intellectual discourse and ideological depth. Under this initiative, people will be sensitized to counter anti-national forces; furthermore, deliberations were held regarding the resolution of several other critical issues facing Punjab, including religious conversions.
