Nawanshahr (Daljit Ajnoha):- A steering committee was constituted in connection with the 650th Prakash Purab of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. In this regard, a meeting was held today at Geeta Bhawan, Nawanshahr, under the chairmanship of Dr. Davinder Sharma.
Yatra coordinator Paramjit Rattewalia said that the meeting was convened to plan the Shobha Yatra being organised to mark the 650th Prakash Purab of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. The procession will begin on November 22 from Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, the spiritual meditation site of Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, after seeking blessings.
On the first day, the procession will pass through Singhpur, Manguppur, Bhaddi, Thopia and Kathgarh before reaching Balachaur, where participants will stay overnight. On November 23, 2026, the procession will proceed through Mazari, Sahiba, Saroa and Garhshankar to reach Mahilpur.
On November 24, 2026, the procession will pass through Panch Nangla, Mahil Gahila, Khamachon and Mukandpur before reaching Banga, where an overnight stay will be arranged. On November 25, 2026, the procession will travel through Mahadipur, Nawanshahr and Rahon before reaching Nagar. The route and arrangements for the procession were discussed and finalised during the meeting.
