Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh):- Seven buses were damaged in a fire at the Inter-State Bus Terminal in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Officials said the fire was brought under control within about an hour and no injuries had been reported.

Municipal Corporation Fire Officer Saurabh Patel told PTI at the scene that the fire first broke out in one bus and quickly spread to other buses parked nearby. He said four buses were completely gutted, while three others were damaged.

Patel said the fire department received information about the blaze at 7:18 p.m., following which firefighting operations began with the help of more than eight fire tenders. Another official indicated that a short circuit in one of the buses might have caused the fire. Police are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
