Hoshiarpur - Backfinco Chairman Sandeep Saini, while expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, said that the faceless RTO services launched by the Punjab government are a major gift for the citizens of the state. He said that with this initiative, people will no longer have to visit RTO offices for services related to vehicle registration and driving licenses.
Sandeep Saini explained that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has implemented this modern system, keeping public convenience paramount. Under this system, 56 key services related to the Transport Department have been made completely faceless. Now, citizens will be able to avail these services from the comfort of their homes, either online or through service centers established in the district.
He said that this step is a historic reform towards curbing corruption and providing transparent, quick, and simple services to the public. The staff at all service centers have been fully trained on this system so that people do not face any problems.
Sandeep Saini said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously moving Punjab towards digital and transparent governance. He said that such decisions taken in the public interest will certainly prove to be a milestone in realizing the dream of "Rangla Punjab."
