Chandigarh, October 21 - On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of light, a grand event was held at Labour Chowk, Faridabad in the honorable presence of Haryana Cabinet Minister Shri Vipul Goyal. This lamp is not only a symbol, but will also illuminate the entire Faridabad by becoming a messenger of the nectarine light of unity, brotherhood and hope.
In his inspiring address on the occasion of lighting the lamp, Shri Vipul Goyal said that the festival of Diwali is a symbol of the victory of light over darkness, truth over lies and hope over despair. This 15 feet high Ashadeep is a symbol of a unique combination of tradition and environmental consciousness. Which was creatively made with old ghee and oil cans. The message of love, brotherhood and positivity was spread at the venue through bhajans, cultural performances and lamp lighting. The people of Faridabad appreciated this initiative and called it not only the festival of Diwali, but also the spirit of Sago Amritkal and the hope of a new India.
Mr. Goyal said that this Ashadeep is a symbol of our unbreakable resolve, which beats in the heart of every Faridabadi. This city also celebrates festivals and also lights the lamp of development. This is an honour to those hardworking workers, professionals, employees and citizens who have made invaluable contributions to the development of this city. Shri Goyal reiterated the goals of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Developed India and Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini's Developed Haryana and Excellence Faridabad and said that this Ashadeep is another strong step in the direction of these resolutions.
He reiterated the resolution to make Faridabad a Next Level Development City by next Diwali.
