Nawanshahr, September 12:- On the 86th death anniversary of Brahm Gyani Sri Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib, three-day Diwans were organised in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at village Mazara Nau Abad. Various Ragi and Dhadi Jathas enthralled the devotees by narrating Sikh history. A large number of devotees paid obeisance at the Darbar of Sri Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib. On the occasion, renowned Dhadi performers of the Panth, including Tarseem Singh Moranwali, Gurpreet Singh Landran, Baba Gulab Singh, the Jagadhari Bibian Jatha, Pandit Somnath Rodiyaan Wale, Gurdeep Singh Urhapur, Bibi Jasvir Kaur Khalsa and Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalsa, connected the devotees with Sikh history.
They informed that Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib Ji was cremated at village Mujara Nau Abad, where Angitha Sahib currently stands. During his lifetime, Raja Sahib connected the Sangat with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and preached the practice of Naam Simran. In the same manner, he entrusted responsibilities to Mahant Puran Das and handed over the keys of Rasokhana Sahib. Gurdwara Sahibs were established by them at village Rahipa, village Jhingran, village Gosla, village Sujjo and village Gunachaur.
On the final day also, lakhs of devotees paid obeisance at the Darbar of Nabha Kanwal Raja Sahib Ji. For the convenience of devotees visiting the Darbar, arrangements were made for around 20,000 vehicles, while special arrangements were also made for the devotees to stay overnight. During the death anniversary event, devotees also organised Langars at various places. The organising committee thanked the Sewadars who performed various services as well as the Sangat.
