Karnal, October 23 (Praveen Walia):- In view of the call for a three-day strike by electricity department employees in Haryana, Karnal District Police is fully alert and prepared. Necessary security arrangements have been made to maintain an uninterrupted electricity supply, ensure the security of important power installations and prevent inconvenience to the public. As part of these arrangements, police personnel have been deployed at various power houses and other important locations across the district, where they are performing their duties with utmost vigilance.
Under the directions of Karnal Superintendent of Police Karan Goyal, district police are paying special attention to security arrangements in view of the prevailing situation. Police personnel have been instructed to remain alert at their respective duty points and immediately inform senior officers about any suspicious activity or untoward incident. Continuous monitoring is also being carried out in the concerned areas to maintain peace and law and order.
Coordination with the District Administration and Electricity Department
To maintain a smooth electricity supply, Karnal Police is continuously coordinating with officials of the district administration and the electricity department. Police personnel have been kept on alert to ensure security at power installations and respond to any emergency. The police are making every effort to maintain peace and law and order during the strike and prevent unnecessary inconvenience to the public due to electricity-related issues.
Keeping public convenience in mind, police teams from Assandh Police Station, led by Station House Officer Inspector Rajesh Kumar; Nissing Police Station, led by Station House Officer Inspector Krishan Kumar; and Sadar Bazar Police Post, led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar, along with other police teams, made necessary coordination and efforts to address electricity supply-related problems in their respective areas. The teams assisted in resolving electricity-related issues and worked to provide relief to the public.
The objective of Karnal Police is not only to ensure the security of electricity installations but also to coordinate with the concerned departments and assist in resolving public grievances, so that citizens face minimal inconvenience during the strike and normal life remains unaffected.
