Haroli/Una, July 16 (Rajveer Chopra): A free health camp was organized in Gram Panchayat Lalhadi under the 'MP Mobile Health Service' (Sansad Mobile Swasthya Seva)—an initiative run under the guidance of former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur, with the support of the Prayas Society.
At the camp, 147 patients underwent health check-ups, and 67 free laboratory tests were conducted. Patients were provided with specialist medical consultations, essential medicines, and vital health-related information, all free of cost.
During the event, villagers were sensitized about preventing diseases common during the monsoon season. They were advised on practices such as drinking clean, boiled water, maintaining hygiene, protecting themselves from mosquitoes, and adopting measures to avoid dengue, malaria, and other seasonal infections.
Gram Pradhan Anjana Bala, Up-Pradhan Raghubir, Ward Panchs (Darshana, Veena, Kiran, Sanyogita, Kamalkant, and Shallu Devi), ASHA workers (Jyoti, Raj, and Usha), and Anganwadi worker Chanchala Devi were present at the camp. They actively supported the successful organization of the event and encouraged villagers to avail themselves of these health services in large numbers.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, and Manish provided their services at the health camp.
Expressing their gratitude to MP Anurag Singh Thakur, local villagers remarked that the 'MP Mobile Health Service' has become an effective medium for providing free, quality healthcare in rural areas while simultaneously raising health awareness among the people.
