Patiala:- Every day, hundreds of people are dying and properties are being destroyed due to fires of gases, electricity, petroleum products in vehicles, trains, hotels, factories and houses.
Because the common people, employees, drivers are not trained and practiced on disaster management, extinguishing fires and using cylinders, rescuing victims and giving first aid, CPR.
These views were expressed by Mr. Harsimran Pal Singh, Plant Manager of Amber Enterprises India Limited Factory, while thanking Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management Trainer and ASI Ram Saran of Traffic Education Cell Punjab Police at the training program organized at the factory.
Kaka Ram Verma and Ram Sharan provided training on the causes of fires, types of fires, water, soil, fire suppression and types of cylinders and their proper use. They said that accidents and deaths are happening due to negligence, haste and lack of understanding.
Every vehicle, building, factory, house and family have become centers of destruction due to fires, gases, electricity, petroleum products, but it is a matter of sorrow that fire extinguishing cylinders worth 1000/2000 rupees are not kept in properties and vehicles worth lakhs of crores of crores. 
People are not prepared for their own protection. The officials and drivers of the institutions do not follow the rules, laws and principles of safety, rescue and help.
