Ratia, 17 August:- Under the Ladli Shiksha Protsahan Yojana 2026-27, Punjab National Bank, Anaj Mandi Ratia provided incentive amount to Scheduled Caste (S.C.) girl students who secured first position in classes 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th in the year 2025-26 of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Khai (Fatehabad).
Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 5,000-5,000 each was transferred to the bank accounts of class 9th student Gurvinder Kaur and class 8th student Simran Kaur. While incentive amount of Rs 3,000-3,000 was deposited in the accounts of class 7th student Aarti and class 6th student Manjot Kaur.
During the programme organized at Anaj Mandi Ratia, dummy cheques of this incentive amount were distributed to the girl students by chief guest MLA Jarnail Singh and S.D.M. Ratia Surendra Singh. On this occasion, the girl students were encouraged to continue performing excellently in the field of education.
In the programme, Senior Branch Manager of Punjab National Bank Shri Rajiv Bairwa, Principal of the school Avnish Garg, Dr Naib Singh Mander, Spokesperson Charanjit Singh, Sonu Garg, Hostel Warden Madam Maheshi, Sunita Monga, Rupinder Kaur including other staff of the school were present.
On this occasion, the school management and staff appreciated this effort being made by Punjab National Bank to encourage girl students for education.
