Hoshiarpur- Poet Harjinder Kaur, who plays an active role in the field of children's literature, released her first children's book 'Sohne Baal Bade Kamal' by Nikkian Karumbalan Prakashan at Tibriwala Farm. On this occasion, former AEO Sarabjit Singh, as the chief guest, congratulated the poet and said that this entire family has been her student and she has always achieved great things in life.
Shiromani Punjabi children's literature writer Baljinder Mann, while analyzing the poetry of Harjinder Kaur, said that she has words that are suitable for children's minds, by reading which they will enjoy happiness in their lives. This is an interesting and inspiring book for primary level students.
While reading the book and pamphlet, writer Raghuveer Singh Kaloya presented the poet's literary creation as an expert poet. Bagga Singh Artist praised the painting done by Sukhman Singh and said that readers are attracted by seeing the picture before reading the words. Actor-director Ashok Puri said that joint families have disappeared from the society but Harjinder Kaur has given a new direction to the society by maintaining this tradition.
Her life partner, former lecturer Balwant Singh, said that he is proud that Harjinder Kaur has brought glory to the family name by making outstanding achievements in literary, social and educational fields. Center Head Teacher Davinder Kaur and Teacher Balvir Kaur said in their address that the poet goes down to the depths of the child's mind like a psychologist.
Satnam Singh SDO Electricity Board, while presenting the welcome address, said that Nikkian Karumbalan Prakashan has registered its name in the India Book of Records by making unique achievements in the field of children's literature, editing, publishing and translation etc.
While conducting the stage, Sukhman Singh said that it is a matter of gold and silver for a teacher to be a writer. Under the patronage of Baljinder Mann, the efforts of Nikkian Karumbalan to encourage new writers have been going on continuously for the last three decades.
On this occasion, copies of Nikkian Karumbalan Bal Rasala were distributed to all the audience. The poetess was also specially honored by Sur Sangam Educational Trust. Harjinder Kaur said in her words of gratitude that this book has reached the hands of the readers only due to the inspiration of the editor.
A nursery of new writers is being prepared by AAP. On this occasion, family members Charanjit Kaur, Joginder Singh, Kuldeep Kaur, Navroop Kaur, Simranjit Kaur, Harbans Singh, Baljinder Kaur, Dalvir Singh, Daljit Kaur, Gurbaksh Singh, Santokh Singh besides literature lovers participated.
