Hisar: A grand and deeply revered Gurmat Samagam was organized at SD Women's College on Sunday, attended by all the managing committees of the area's Gurdwara Sahibs, Granthi Singh Sahibs, and the Sangat. MLA Vinod Bhayana attended the event as the chief guest. MLA Kapoor Valmiki from the Bawani Khera Assembly constituency attended as the special guest.
The Samagam began with the recitation of Guru's teachings and Ardaas. Following this, MLA Vinod Bhayana addressed the gathering, saying, "Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki Fateh."
He said, "It is a privilege, an honor, and a special spiritual experience for me to be present among the holy Sangat at this great Gurmat Samagam today. This gathering is dedicated to the glory of Guru Sahib and his immortal message."
MLA Bhayana paid homage to the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, the true Guru of India, who sacrificed his life to protect humanity, truth, and religious freedom. He stated that Guru Sahib's martyrdom is not only a treasure trove of Sikh history, but also a priceless heritage for the entire world. He emphasized that sacrificing one's life for the protection of humanity is a small thing—this is the message Guru Sahib conveyed to the world.
The MLA described the joint organization of this gathering by all Gurdwara Sahibs as a historic initiative, saying it is a remarkable example of unity, service, and dedication. He expressed joy for all of us. He further stated that the purpose of this program is not merely to commemorate, but to spread the message of love, brotherhood, and peace in society. He also emphasized the importance of educating children about Gurbani, Gurmat, and Sikh history. He expressed confidence that the lessons learned from this gathering will play a significant role in shaping the character of future generations. MLA Bhayana stated that the tradition of the Gurus teaches us the message of selfless service, the welfare of all, and the protection of humanity. He assured that he would always stand with the Sangat for the development of society, the advancement of youth, and the protection of religious and cultural values. He prayed that Waheguru Ji may bestow His infinite grace, peace, and ascending glory upon us all. He heartily congratulated all Gurdwara committees, managers, and the Guru's beloved Sangat on the successful organization of this historic and grand Gurmat Samagam.
