Hoshiarpur- In the Yag Bhoomi near Shri Siddheshwar Shiv Mandir Bassi Ghulam Hussain, in the presence of spiritual leader Swami Mahant Udayagiri Ji, groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of Kund and Yag Mandap for Rudra Mahayag to be held in 1100 Havan Kunds from 19 February 2026 to 25 February 2026.
On this occasion, Swami Vishwanand Ji Saraswati, the Chief Mahant of Shri Kalinath Kaleshwar Tirth Khetra Himachal, gave a divine message to the devotees and said that participating in the Ati Rudra Mahayag with 1100 Kunds is very rare and this opportunity is available only due to meritorious deeds. He said that earlier this yag was organized by his grandfather Guru Swami Bodhanand Ji in Kaleshwar in 1925.
This rare yag is becoming possible only due to the firm resolve of Swami Udayagiri Ji, whose aim is universal welfare and world peace. By participating in this rare havan yag, merit is gained and sins are destroyed.
MLA Brahmashankar Jimpa installed the flag on this occasion with Swami Udayagiri Ji and other devotees and said that Swami Udayagiri Ji keeps performing such religious rituals following the orders of Brahmleen Guru Shri Mahant Basantgiri Ji and his aim is universal welfare and world peace.
He said that Swami Udayagiri Ji is a living idol who has reached the highest level of simplicity and spirituality. He appealed to the devotees to participate in this great Yagya with great enthusiasm.
Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna took the vow of Yagya by worshipping the land and said that now he will serve with body, mind and wealth day and night till the completion of the Yagya. He appealed for cooperation from all.
Mayor Surinder Chinda said that he has been associated with Shri Siddheshwar Shiv Mandir since the time of Brahmleen Swami Basantgiri Ji Maharaj and will give full support in this pious work. He said that performing Havan brings purity and positivity in the environment.
