Chandigarh, September 24:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that the developed India taking shape in the imagination of children is the India that will emerge before us in reality in the coming times. By providing the right platform and encouragement to children’s talent, creativity, values, spirit of service and zeal for nation-building can be developed among them.
The Chief Minister was addressing the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ and ‘Nipun Chitrakala Pradarshani’ programme organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Kanipla, Kurukshetra, on Thursday. On the occasion, he inaugurated the ‘Madhav Auditorium’ and the mural of Param Pujaniya Shri Guru Ji and inspected the painting exhibition. The Chief Minister also planted saplings in the school complex.
On the occasion, Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj, former Minister of State Shri Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner Shri Vishram Meena, Dr. Om Prakash Arora, Shri Ratan Chand Sardana, Dr. Pritam Singh, along with senior officers and other dignitaries, were present.
Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini announced Rs 11 lakh for installing solar panels at the government school in Kanipla. Along with this, an announcement was also made to provide Rs 21 lakh for development works in Kanipla village.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Inspiring Children Towards National Service
The Chief Minister said that the programme was organised under the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being conducted on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday. Under the campaign, painting and speech competitions were organised for students from Classes 3 to 12 from September 17 to 21, in which students participated enthusiastically. The artworks selected from these competitions have been displayed in the district-level exhibition.
Congratulating the students participating in the exhibition, he said that children hold colours in their hands, but the confidence to transform those colours into dreams is given by families and teachers. Through their creativity, the children have presented themes such as Swachh Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat, environmental conservation, the spirit of service and their vision of a developed India in 2047.
Call to Draw Inspiration from 25 Years of Service and Contribute to Building a Developed India
Shri Nayab Singh Saini said that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is not merely an occasion to remember achievements, but a medium to carry the spirit of service, dedication and nation-building to the new generation. Drawing inspiration from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life, we should resolve to play our role in building a developed India.
He said that India is continuously advancing in the fields of science, technology and innovation. The country has demonstrated its capabilities in several fields, including space science. He called upon students to turn their dreams into goals and continue making efforts to contribute to the development of the country.
Madhav Auditorium and Mural to Inspire the New Generation
The Chief Minister said that at this school in Kanipla, the paintings created by children on one hand present a vision of the India of the future, while on the other hand, the mural of Param Pujaniya Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar ‘Shri Guru Ji’ in the Madhav Auditorium reminds people of history, values and duty. He said that history gives us roots, education gives us wings, values give us direction and dreams give us the power to fly.
He said that Shri Guru Ji was an extraordinary personality who dedicated his entire life to the nation. His life will always remain a source of inspiration for generations to come. This mural has been prepared to familiarise children with his life, thoughts and spirit of national service. This initiative will serve as a medium to carry the spirit of national culture and dedication towards society to the new generation.
Special Focus on Technology, Innovation and Skills in Education System
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to provide quality and modern education to students. Digital education, smart classrooms, tablet distribution and e-learning have been promoted in government schools. Along with connecting students with artificial intelligence, coding and digital skills, research and innovation in higher education are also being encouraged.
He said that programmes such as ‘Super-100’ and ‘Buniyaad’ are being run in government schools with the objective of providing better guidance to students for competitive examinations. The number of Super-100 seats has been increased from 500 to 600.
Haryana Preparing Students for Global Opportunities
The Chief Minister said that India today is moving forward in step with the entire world. Therefore, it is also necessary to prepare students for global opportunities. In this direction, French language education has been started in government schools, while an agreement has been made for the German language and preparations are also underway to introduce Japanese and Korean language education in phases.
Special attention is also being given to the development of sports facilities in government schools of the state. This year, Rs 1 lakh each has been made available for the development of playgrounds in all government high and senior secondary schools.
Children Should Take Their Talent Forward
The Chief Minister told the students that the art being displayed in the exhibition should not remain limited to paper. The colour of service should be visible in their conduct, the colour of values in their personality, the colour of hard work in their studies and the colour of duty towards the nation in their lives.
Congratulating all the students who participated in the ‘Nipun Haryana District-Level Art Exhibition’, he said that the message emerging from Kanipla School would travel far and the creativity and talent of children would become a strong foundation for the bright future of the state and the country.
Life of Guru Ji a Source of Inspiration for Youth: Swami Gyananand Maharaj
Gita Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj said that the mural of Shri Guru Ji is a symbol of inspiration and resolve for the new generation. He said that matters related to Sanatan culture, the Gita, traditions and life values should not be viewed by linking them with politics. These are matters connected with our culture and life values. He called upon the youth to make great personalities like Shri Guru Ji their role models, work for society and the nation, and draw inspiration from their lives. He also extended his best wishes for Shri Ratan Chand Sardana Ji’s work ‘Apna Madhav’.
