Haroli/Una, July 9 (Rajveer Chopra): The campaign to provide free health services in rural areas—run by the 'MP Mobile Health Service' (Haroli) under the guidance of former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur and with the support of the Prayas Society—continues in full swing.
As part of this initiative, a free health camp was organized in Village Bidharwal, Gram Panchayat Chhetra. During the camp, 89 patients underwent health check-ups, and 55 free laboratory tests were conducted. Patients received necessary medical consultations, free medicines, and important health-related information.
The health team encouraged attendees to adopt regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, hygiene practices, and a healthy lifestyle. They also raised awareness about the importance of early detection and timely treatment of various diseases.
ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers provided commendable support for the successful organization of the camp. They played a vital role in encouraging villagers to participate and in spreading health awareness.
The medical team included Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, and Manish, who examined the patients and provided necessary consultations and treatment.
Local residents praised the 'MP Mobile Health Service,' noting that the initiative plays a crucial role in providing free, high-quality healthcare to rural residents right near their homes. At the conclusion of the camp, people were urged to undergo regular health check-ups and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
