Patiala, August 21:- On the occasion of International Humanitarian Protection and Rescue Day being celebrated by the United Nations, a special program was organized at Scholar Public School to provide training to senior students and teachers to save precious lives during upcoming natural, climatic and human disasters, domestic incidents and wars.
Under the leadership of Director Mrs. Sudesh Joshi, Punjab Disaster Management, Civil Defense, First Aid and Fire Safety Trainer Mr. Kaka Ram Verma conducted various practicals and provided training on saving precious lives during emergencies.
Chairman Shri Tarsem Joshi and Director Sudesh Joshi while honoring Shri Kaka Ram Verma said that only those who love humanity, understanding the importance of life, strive to create helpful angels by training and practicing more and more students, teachers, police, factory workers and citizens to reduce accidents and save precious lives.
He said that students, teachers and employees must be trained in disaster management, civil defense, first aid, CPR, fire safety, use of cylinders and rescue and transport of victims, because during accidents, opportunities for rescue and help do not come again.
