Hoshiarpur:- The players of King Edward Public School (K.E.P.S.) brought laurels to the school by giving excellent performance in Zonal School Games and CBSE Cluster Athletics Competitions. Various teams of the school secured 8 positions in Zonal School Games, while with one more excellent achievement in CBSE Cluster Athletics Competitions held in Pathankot, secured a total of 9 positions.
In Zonal School Games, Under-19 boys' Volleyball and Under-19 boys' Basketball teams secured first position with excellent performance. Under-19 girls' Kho-Kho, Under-14 boys' Volleyball and Under-14 boys' Basketball teams secured second position.
Similarly, Under-19 boys' Tug of War, Under-17 boys' Volleyball and Under-17 boys' Tug of War teams secured third position by displaying their excellent sports talent.
Apart from this, in CBSE Cluster Athletics Competitions held in Pathankot, K.E.P.S.'s talented student Arshpreet Kaur secured third position with excellent performance in Long Jump.
Thus K.E.P.S. secured a total of 9 positions in the field of sports, including 2 first, 3 second and 4 third positions. This achievement is a symbol of enthusiasm towards sports in the school, hard work of players and dedicated guidance of teachers and coaches.
Managing Director of the school Dr. Mohinder Singh Jaswal and Principal Mrs. Asha Sharma congratulated all winning players, their coaches and sports teachers on this excellent achievement.
