Hansi, October 5 (Dinkar Gawri):- Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, while presiding over a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee held at SD Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Hansi, on Monday, heard the grievances of citizens and directed officials to ensure their resolution on priority.
A total of 10 complaints were heard during the meeting, of which seven were resolved on the spot, while officials were directed to investigate the remaining three complaints and present a report at the next meeting.
On the demand of farmers of Bas Badshahpur village, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda directed the concerned officials to make the unpaved road leading to 14 acres of farmland into a paved road. He said farmers should not face any difficulty in commuting to their fields. Providing essential basic facilities in rural areas is a priority of the government, and development works should be completed keeping public interest in mind.
Directions to Lay Electricity Line on Complaint of Subhash of Sindhar Village
On a complaint submitted by Subhash, a resident of Sindhar village, the Education Minister directed officials of the Electricity Department to resolve the complainant’s problem and ensure that the work of laying the electricity line is completed after the harvesting of the crop. He directed officials not to keep the work pending unnecessarily and to complete it as per the prescribed procedure.
Directions for Re-Demarcation of Ramrati Devi’s Land in Masudpur
Ramrati Devi, a resident of Masudpur village, submitted a complaint regarding the demarcation of her land. Taking the matter seriously, the Education Minister directed that the land be re-demarcated. He assigned the responsibility for the work to the SDM and directed that a report be submitted. He also made it clear that the land demarcation should be carried out free of cost so that the complainant does not face any inconvenience.
Three-Member Committee Formed in Kheri Jalab Case
On a complaint submitted by Ramvilas, a resident of Kheri Jalab village, the Education Minister directed that a three-member committee comprising members of the District Grievance Committee be constituted for an impartial investigation into the entire matter. He directed the committee to investigate the case and submit its report to the Deputy Commissioner so that appropriate action could be ensured on the basis of the facts.
Directions to Police for Prompt Action on Complaint of Illegal Occupation
Vinod Kumar, a resident of Hansi, submitted a complaint stating that another person had illegally occupied his plot. He demanded removal of the illegal occupation and restoration of possession of the land to him. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the Education Minister directed police officials to take immediate action, remove the illegal occupation and ensure that possession is handed over to the actual landowner. He also directed that action be taken against those illegally occupying the land as per rules.
Proposal Sent to Government Regarding Allotment of 100-Square-Yard Plots to Majra Villagers
The issue of providing 100-square-yard plots to residents of Majra village was also raised during the meeting. The concerned officials informed the Education Minister that a proposal for a permanent solution to the problem had been prepared and sent to the government. The Education Minister directed the officials to take further necessary action in accordance with the rules.
Directions for Investigation into Crop Insurance Claim of Raj Kumar of Singhwa Ragho
Raj Kumar, a resident of Singhwa Ragho village, raised a complaint regarding payment of an insurance claim for crop damage. Officials of the concerned department informed that the complainant had already been provided the insurance claim amount. On the complainant’s demand, the Education Minister directed the SDM to investigate the entire matter and submit a report to the Deputy Commissioner.
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda directed officials to take every complaint received by the District Grievance Committee seriously and ensure its resolution within the stipulated time. He said the government’s objective is to provide citizens with good governance and a transparent system. He said it is the responsibility of officials to ensure that no citizen has to make unnecessary rounds of government offices to get a problem resolved.
