Nawanshahr, September 16:-As part of the year-long series of events being organised by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, a special drone show will be held at the ITI Ground in Nawanshahr on September 23. The show will present the life, philosophy and teachings of Guru Ji through modern technology.
SDM Nawanshahr Smt. Anmayot Kaur said that the programme would be organised in the evening on September 23. During the show, 500 drones will fly together in the sky and digitally depict the life of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji and his message of humanity, equality and brotherhood.
She said that the programme would begin with Gurbani and Kirtan, followed by the presentation of the drone show. Necessary arrangements, including seating facilities for devotees, would be ensured so that people can enjoy the special presentation with devotion and enthusiasm.
The SDM directed the concerned officials to complete all necessary arrangements on time for the successful organisation of the programme. She appealed to the residents of the area to participate in the special drone show being organised on September 23 and draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
It is pertinent to mention that drone shows dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji will also be held in Banga on September 24 and in Balachaur on September 25. On the occasion, DSP Pankaj Sharma, besides other officials, was also present.
