Ambala, October 4 (Dr. Rattan Singh Dhillon):- Renowned educationist based in Ambala Cantonment, international scholar of political science and poet, and former Principal of Markanda National College, Shahabad, Dr. Vinay Kumar Malhotra has been honoured with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), for his literary achievements and outstanding contribution to the field of literature. Along with this, he was also honoured with the “Kohinoor Award of the Literary World” and conferred the title of “Sahitya Acharya” for his two poetry collections, ‘Bahurangi’ (2025) and ‘Kavi Hriday’ (2026). These awards were presented to Dr. Malhotra by the National President of the Parishad, Dr. Ramesh Kataria Paras.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Vinay Kumar Malhotra writes poetry in both Punjabi and Hindi and is known for his stage performances. He has so far published 30 books and around 200 articles. His articles on contemporary issues are frequently published in newspapers. He is an international author whose 23 books are on international relations, international politics and foreign policy. One of his books is a collection of articles, while six poetry collections have also been published. Earlier, Dr. Malhotra had also received the “Sahitya Gaurav Samman-2024” from Sahitya Kalash, Patiala; the Shiksha Ratan Award from the Anti-Corruption Foundation of India; the Olive Reddick Award and the Gilmore Award from the Indian Association for American Studies.
