Patiala- Dr. Ambedkar Library and Study Circle, an organization that promotes welfare works and teachings of Baba Saheb in the field of education, organized a felicitation ceremony dedicated to the special day of Dr. Ambedkar Patiala Aamd at the Government High School located at Lahori Gate Gandhi Nagar under the leadership of President Hemraj Bhatti and General Secretary Balbir Singh Bains Advocate.
In which various important personalities Pawan Kumar Retd: CISF, Darshan Singh Parocha, Rohit Hans Deputy Advocate General, Vinay Parocha President Valmiki Dharam Sabha, Sharda Devi Retd: Deputy Registrar participated. Who made the students aware of the struggle life of Dr. Ambedkar and the importance of education. After this, the school children also gave performances of songs and cultural choreography related to Dr. Ambedkar.

On this occasion, President Hem Raj Bhatti and General Secretary Balbir Singh Advocate while addressing the ceremony said that during the first Lok Sabha elections held on 29 October 1951, Baba Saheb had come to Patiala Arya Samaj to address the election meeting. The organization has been organizing ceremonies dedicated to this day for 50 years.
He said that Baba Saheb had created history by obtaining degrees in the majority. He said that education is the most powerful tool for equality and empowerment and social justice and development in society. Education is not only literacy but also increases the mental development, self-confidence and thinking ability of a person, which can eliminate caste discrimination and bring about economic and social change.
