Dirba / Kauharain, 21 July:- Under the special awareness campaign being run by the Punjab Government dedicated to the 650th Prakash Diwas of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a documentary based on the life, philosophy and great teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj was shown in village Kauharain. On this occasion, a large number of villagers participated and watched the documentary and got inspiration from the life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.
On this occasion, Sarpanch of village Kauharain Malwinder Singh, while highly appreciating this effort of the Punjab Government, said that this effort made by the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann to take his life and teachings to the people dedicated to the 650th Prakash Diwas of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj is very commendable. He said that Shri Guru Ravidas Ji gave the message of equality, brotherhood, humanity and social justice to the society, which is still guiding the society today. He said that such documentaries will play an important role in connecting the young generation with the ideology of their great Gurus and Saints.
The villagers also appreciating this effort of the Punjab Government said that through this documentary they got a golden opportunity to understand the life of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, his Bani and his universal message.
