Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 17 August 2026:- Under the special awareness campaign being run by Punjab Government dedicated to 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji, documentary film was shown on LED screen through special van at villages New Landran, Maujpur and Shampur of District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
On this occasion, villagers were made aware about life of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji, his teachings, social equality, humanity, mutual brotherhood and sharing message. Through documentary film, great sermons given by Guru Ji to remove evils and discrimination spread in society were presented effectively.
Enthusiasm was seen among people regarding this special van that reached villages and large number of villagers watched documentary film. Aim of this initiative is to take great life and philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji to maximum people and inspire them to adopt his teachings in their life.
This awareness campaign dedicated to 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji by Punjab Government will continue in different villages of district, under which people will be made aware about teachings of Guru Ji and his message for welfare of humanity by showing documentary film on LED screen through special van.
