Hoshiarpur- District Administration Hoshiarpur organized a grand Bhajan Sandhya at Birdh Ashram, Ram Colony Camp on the occasion of Diwali. Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain attended this program as the chief guest.
This program was organized in collaboration with District Administration, Red Cross Society and Sanskari Vidyarthi Welfare Society, Hoshiarpur. In which social worker Satish Silli Uppal also made a special contribution. He colored the entire atmosphere in the color of spirituality with devotional music and melodious Bhajans.
The program began with lighting of lamps and welcome ceremony. Then Ganesh Vandana and Ram Bhajan were sung. After this, the aarti of Maa Lakshmi was performed, in which all the people present participated with devotion. Also, the rangoli competition further enhanced the color of the event.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said on the occasion that such programs promote mutual love, harmony and devotion in the society. She extended Diwali greetings to the residents of the old age home and said that the administration will always be ready for their welfare.
