Jalandhar:- Paying tribute to the martyr's day (July 31, 1940) of Shaheed Udham Singh, the shining star of the Ghadar movement and the overlooked revolutionary struggle for freedom, a discussion event is being organized at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall on Friday, July 31, at exactly 2:30 PM.
Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh, and Cultural Wing Convener Amolak Singh informed that during the event on July 31, a serious discussion will be held on the book "Bharat-Wand Virodhi Musalman" (The Untold Story of Patriotic Muslims), authored by eminent scholar, writer, and activist Shamsul Islam.
The keynote speaker for this discussion will be the book's translator, Buta Singh Mahmoodpur. Apart from him, other intellectuals, historians, and writers are being approached to make this discussion more meaningful with their invaluable insights.
