Hansi: Further accelerating the pace of development in the city, MLA Vinod Bhayana inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for three important projects worth ?6 crore (60 million rupees) on Saturday. While interacting with citizens, MLA Vinod Bhayana announced that construction work on a grand community center building, to be built at a cost of approximately ?5.12 crore (51.2 million rupees), has commenced today in HUDA Sector 6.
The community center will be completed within the next six months. Its completion will provide residents with a magnificent building equipped with modern facilities for family and group events.
The MLA inaugurated a traffic light system installed at the Hansi-Tosham Road intersection at a cost of ?6.75 lakh (67.5 million rupees). The installation of these traffic lights will significantly facilitate motorists and local residents and reduce road accidents.
This intersection was often prone to traffic jams. The installation of the traffic light system will now provide relief from traffic jams. He said that strengthening traffic management is the need of the hour, and this arrangement has been made keeping in mind the public convenience of the area.
He urged drivers to follow traffic rules, as this can help curb road accidents. He asked police officials to make concerted efforts to ensure the success of the traffic light system. He also appealed to drivers not to ignore traffic rules. He said that traffic lights will be installed as needed to maintain smooth traffic flow in the city.
MLA Vinod Bhayana also inaugurated the construction of a street near Jangra Dharamshala, being built at a cost of ?4.4 million. The target is to complete this street within the next three months. The MLA instructed officials involved in the construction of development projects to ensure the use of quality construction materials. Any negligence or carelessness will not be tolerated.
