Karnal: Despite his busy schedule during the budget session, Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan visited the people of his constituency and extended his heartfelt greetings for the festival of Holi. He truly considers the people of his constituency his family and, despite his busy schedule, always stands by them in their joys and sorrows. In this regard, on Saturday, at Kalyan Farm, Harvinder Kalyan listened to the public's public and personal problems and resolved them.
Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan stated that resolving people's problems is his priority. Therefore, he not only goes among the people to listen to their problems but also makes every effort to resolve them on the spot. On Saturday, a large number of people came to meet him at Kalyan Farm and shared their concerns. Some extended invitations for religious or personal events.
During the public hearing, the Pal community in Phoosgarh village requested the construction of a four-walled kitchen and a one-room building for the village's Chaupal, the paving of drains, the upgrading of the school, the construction of a public health center, and the installation of streets and sewerage in the SC/ST colony.
Responding to this, Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan assured the villagers that the villagers would receive basic amenities. Similarly, Monica, a resident of Pundri village, applied for the benefit of the ?80,000 grant approved for house repairs under the Ambedkar Renovation Housing Scheme. Harvinder Kalyan assured them that the benefits of this grant would be received soon.
During the public hearing, Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan addressed the issue of employees of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal, and Sugar Mill, Karnal, demanding a change of name from "Scorty Men" to "Scorty Guard" and receiving their salaries as per the regulations. He stated that the entire matter would be discussed with senior officials of the Health Department and the issue would be resolved. Similarly, Satpal, a resident of Shahjahanpur (Dhyana), requested the completion of the incomplete work on the Valmiki Chaupal.
The Chairman stated that no Chaupal should be left unfinished. Rohtash Pehlwan, a resident of Raipur Jatan, requested the construction of a drain in the village, the laying of drinking water lines in the BPL colony, the construction of streets, and a large hall in the Valmiki Bhawan. The Chairman stated that all these works would be completed as soon as possible.
Salinder Mokal, Rajesh Numberdar, and Jasbir Fauji, residents of Jhimrehadi, submitted applications for the construction of a paved road along the ring road and a drain for water drainage in the village. The Chairman assured them that these works would be completed as needed.
