Garhshankar, October 9 (Hari Krishan Gangar):- Various organisations that helped make the blood donation camp organised by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Charitable Society in Garhshankar a success in memory of Kaka Amandeep Singh Mattu were specially thanked today. A meeting of representatives of various organisations was held at Lovely Sweet Shop, Garhshankar, under the leadership of Darshan Singh Mattu.
On the occasion, Darshan Singh Mattu said that the voluntary blood donation camp organised in memory of Kaka Amandeep Singh Mattu had been highly successful due to the support extended by various organisations. He said that people from different religions donated blood at the camp, while young people and women from the Muslim community also came forward to donate blood, leaving a distinctive mark through their participation.
Those present on the occasion included Darshan Singh Mattu, Bibi Subhash Mattu, Dr Lakhwinder Kumar, Happy Sadhowal, Ranjit Singh Banga, Principal Bikkar Singh, Kulwinder Sangha, Bhupinder Rana, Sandeep Sharma Bora, Rocky Moila, Shinda Golia, Rakesh Rajput and Dr Bittu Vij, among others.
