Tahliewal/Una, October 2 (Rajveer Chopra):- Voices of protest have begun to rise in Haroli against the comment made by BJP leader Ajay Joshi regarding late Professor Simi Agnihotri. Advocate Randeep Thakur strongly condemned the comment and demanded that Ajay Joshi publicly apologise. He said that one should maintain decorum before making political remarks. Making such a comment about a deceased person is not appropriate.

Randeep Thakur, in a press statement, said that he strongly opposes the comment made by Ajay Joshi the previous day regarding late Professor Simi Agnihotri. He said that Simi Agnihotri is a matter of respect for the people of Haroli. The comment made about her has hurt the sentiments of the people of Haroli. Demanding that Ajay Joshi publicly apologise, he said that he should not attend the wrestling event to be held in Haroli on October 17 and 18. If he attends the wrestling event, strong opposition will be staged against him. He said that wrestlers are honoured at the wrestling event, not insulting words.

He said that an effort will also be made to fight a legal battle at every possible level against the comment. His legal team will take action on every aspect of the matter. He said that they will register their protest at every level over the comment. He said that Simi Agnihotri is like a mother to the people of Haroli. Although she is no longer among the people today, her thoughts, ideology and blessings continue to live in the hearts of the people of Haroli with the same respect. In such a situation, the anger among the people over the comment made about her is natural.

Thakur said that what Ajay Joshi said is wrong and that he strongly condemns it. He reiterated that Ajay Joshi should publicly apologise in this matter. He also appealed to Ajay Joshi through the media to clarify his position regarding his comment and publicly apologise to the people of Haroli.
