Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 19:- Under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme, the 13th bus was flagged off for the pilgrimage by Mohali MLA S. Kulwant Singh today. While flagging off this bus filled with devotees from Gurdwara Nanak Darbar, Sector-91, Mohali, the MLA told reporters that this journey will be of three days and two nights, after which the devotees will reach Mohali safely.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has ensured complete travel and accommodation facilities for the devotees. Arrangements are made with every bus for a medical expert and a guide, so that there is no problem during the journey.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that according to the Chief Minister's meaningful thinking, this scheme is getting a huge response from the people and devotees are registering in large numbers in their respective constituencies. He said that this scheme will be continued in future too, so that no devotee is left deprived of this opportunity.
He further said that after returning from the pilgrimage, the devotees are contacted over the phone to know their experiences, who greatly appreciate this scheme. On this occasion, the MLA also thanked Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party Supremo S. Arvind Kejriwal for starting this scheme.
On this occasion, Constituency Coordinator and State Awardee S. Phoolraj Singh said that there is great enthusiasm among the devotees regarding the pilgrimage and people are also motivating their relatives and friends to join this scheme.
