Hoshiarpur: Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna announced that a cancer screening and awareness camp is being organized at Baba Augadh Shri Fatehnath Girls College, Jaijon, on April 26, in collaboration with Vardhman Threads. Khanna emphasized that raising awareness about a dreaded disease like cancer is absolutely essential for its prevention. He asserted that awareness regarding cancer is, in itself, the key to its prevention.
Khanna stated that at this upcoming camp, expert oncologists will conduct preliminary screenings for cancer, while simultaneously educating the public on preventive measures. In addition to this, eye check-ups will be conducted, and free spectacles will be provided at the camp. Furthermore, 150 other diagnostic tests will also be performed. Khanna appealed to the public to take full advantage of this camp.
