Haryana/Hisar- As is the tradition every year, the Rotary Club (Barwala Chapter) organized a blood donation camp this year as well, held at the Durga Temple in Barwala. The camp ran from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, during which approximately 90 blood donors voluntarily donated blood, thereby conveying a powerful message of service to humanity.
The blood donation camp saw the team from the Civil Hospital, Hisar, provide their services in collaboration with the Red Cross, Hisar. The team included Mukesh and Harish (Technicians), as well as Rajbala (Counselor) representing the female staff. Additionally, Sachin and Manish from the Civil Hospital, Barwala, also provided significant assistance during the camp.
Former MLA of Barwala, Ved Narang, attended the camp as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries—including BJP District Vice President Munish, BJP Mandal President (Barwala) Monu Sanduja, Councilor Raja Mehta, Director of Shiva Properties Consultants Ramniwas Khowal, and senior social worker Ravi Sardana—were also present to encourage the blood donors. During the event, journalists from the region were also felicitated.
Various organizations—including the Akhil Bharatiya Seva Sangh (Barwala Chapter), Rotaract Club (Barwala Chapter), Inner Wheel Club (Barwala Chapter), and the Hanuman Temple (Barwala)—extended their full support in every possible way to make this camp a success.
In his address, Rotarian Om Prakash Wadhwa, President of the Rotary Club (Barwala Chapter), stated that blood donation is the greatest of all donations. He described it as an act of service that transcends the barriers of social discrimination—such as caste, religion, and social hierarchy—to unite humanity. He urged all healthy individuals to donate blood periodically so that any needy person can receive timely access to blood whenever the need arises.
Women also participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp; by voluntarily donating blood, they demonstrated that they are walking shoulder-to-shoulder with men in every endeavor related to social service.
The program was anchored by Vicky Raheja, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Seva Sangh. Speaking from the dais, he welcomed all the guests, expressed his gratitude to them, and voiced his hope for their continued support in such social initiatives in the future.
