Nawanshahr, 28 September:- As per the directions received from the Punjab Government, a special blood donation camp dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh is being organised at the local BDC Blood Centre, Rahon Road, on September 28. The camp will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue till 4:00 p.m.
BTO Dr. Ajay Bagga said that every healthy person between 18 and 65 years of age, weighing not less than 45 kg, having a blood level (haemoglobin) of 12.5 grams percent and not suffering from any chronic disease can donate blood after three months with medical approval.
BDC office-bearers S.K. Sareen, G.S. Toor, J.S. Gidda and Pravesh Kumar said that organising a blood donation camp on the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam is a matter of pride and service for the organisation. They appealed to the blood-donation volunteers to make the blood donation camp dedicated to the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam a success.
